LPC, LCPC, LMHC, Executive Director (She/Her)
Aimee Solis
Aimee Solis, LCPC, LPC (she/her) is the Founder and Executive Director of Mindful Springs Counseling, where she leads a heart-driven, innovative team committed to redefining what mental health care can be. She is licensed in Colorado, Illinois, and Washington and has been a practicing psychotherapist since 2006. As an MSC Level V provider, Aimee provides individual therapy, couples counseling, groups and workshops on a limited basis, spending much of her time leading and developing other therapists.
Aimee is deeply passionate about creating healing experiences that go far beyond “talking on the couch.” She focuses on delivering transformative, experiential therapies for clients who are tired of trying to think their way out of their suffering and are ready for deeper change. She is a Brainspotting consultant, trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, and also works as an executive, career, and entrepreneur coach, as well as a mindfulness parenting coach.
A quick hello from Aimee
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (CO, IL, WA), a certified energy coach, and the Founder and Clinical Director of Mindful Springs Counseling, a multi-state group psychotherapy practice built on the belief that mental health care should be accessible, deep, and genuinely human. I have spent my career working at the edges of what traditional mental health often overlooks, the body, the nervous system, the cultural context, the parts of a person that don't fit neatly into a diagnostic category. That edge is where I feel most alive as a clinician, and it is the work I am most proud of.
I am trained in Brainspotting and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, psychedelic integration, and I hold specialized training in perinatal mental health. I work from a non-pathologizing, somatic, and culturally informed framework, grounded in the belief that distress is almost always a wise response to real circumstances, even if they are acenstral at their origin, and that the role of the therapist is not to correct that response, but to help the person understand it and grow from it.
I am Mexican-American, and my own experience of navigating systems not built with people like me in mind informs how I show up for my clients, particularly those from marginalized communities who have been failed, dismissed, or misunderstood by mental health systems before.
Outside the therapy room, I am a mother, a dreamer, and someone who believes that the field of mental health is overdue for a revolution. I am working toward that, one client, one clinician, and one conversation at a time.
