Taylor Allen
Taylor (she/her) co-creates a safe space that honors the challenges and triumphs of being human, partnering with clients to embrace their whole selves and reconnect with their inherent
healing potential and wisdom. Her approach encourages embodied awareness, allowing clients
to safely connect with their physical sensations, emotions, and memories, while fostering
self-awareness, compassion, and curiosity. Taylor seeks to empower clients’ choice and voice throughout the therapy journey as they connect to their authentic expression and meaning in their stories and experiences.
Taylor specializes in supporting young adults navigating life’s challenges, complex and
developmental trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use, self-harm, and stress/burnout. She also welcomes adults of all ages, backgrounds, and identities seeking to heal, grow, and thrive.
About quick hello from Taylor
Before entering private practice, my clinical roots were planted on the frontlines of residential treatment, schools, and community mental health. Most impactful were my days providing complex trauma therapy to youth and young adults navigating homelessness, violence, foster care transitions, young parenting, and systemic oppression. That work deeply shaped me and continued to ignite a lasting passion for a style of therapy for those who may slip through the cracks of more traditional methods. Today, my practice is fiercely holistic, human-centered, and focused on helping individuals step out of survival mode and reclaim personal agency.
Ideally, when I’m not in the therapy room, you can find me unwinding in nature or hitting the open road to explore new places. Having recently moved from Austin, Texas to the Rocky Mountains, I still have so much new terrain to explore! I find regular inspiration and renewal in art, music, gardening, and diverse cultural experiences. For me, personal time is best spent when I'm able to slow down and reconnect. Whether I'm in the mountains or just relaxing at home with the pets, I aim to bring that same sense of genuine presence, curiosity, and appreciation for life's unique paths into my personal world.
