Emily Christensen, LPCC

Emily Christensen (She/Her) is a Colorado Springs native with a strong passion helping others seek the best versions of themselves to be happier, healthier, and more fulfilled. She believes that not everyone’s pathway to mental health is the same and that finding authenticity in the process is very important. Emily works with individuals ages 16+ and families in the areas of mood management, depression, anxiety, codependency, life changes, and self-esteem. She is also pursuing training and supervision (2023) for brainspotting, eating disorders, and couples therapy.
Emily is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate supervised by Sandi Forsythe, LMFT, and an MSC Level II Psychotherapist.

Coming from a high school counseling background, Emily Christensen enjoys navigating people through life stage changes.  She uses an empathetic person-centered approach using CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy) and Solution Focused Therapy. Through authentically navigating the mental health journey, Emily believes that clients can learn about themselves, grow, and thrive.  In her free time, Emily enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors with her husband and dog.
