Dr. Brittany Findlan-Sawant, Psy.D., LPC

Brittany Findlan-Sawant , Psy.D., LPC (she/her/hers) is a Clinical Psychologist Candidate and an MSC Associate Level II Therapist supervised by Aimee Solis, LCPC. She provides telehealth services to Illinois residents with increased accessibility for Colorado (in-person and virtual) and Washington (virtual) residents coming Summer/ Fall 2025. Dr. Findlan-Sawant works with individuals ages 18 + and specializes in eating disorder recovery, helping clients learn to heal poor body image and self-esteem, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, sexual assault/abuse survivors, and women’s issues. She strives to provide a safe, empathic space to those she works with and is dedicated to being a non-judgmental presence for clients. Dr. Findlan-Sawant’s approach within therapy would be described as a deep, collaborative exploration of one’s inner life, valuing the impact that early relationships and current relationships have on an individual’s sense of themselves and the world. She utilizes a combination of both traditional and non-traditional therapeutic approaches, including DBT, ACT, psychodynamic and feminist theory, and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy).
