Shanna Bowman, FNP-BC, PMH-C
Shanna’s approach to clinical care is a holistic patient centered approach. She believes that your physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual components are all intertwined. When looking into a treatment plan, she likes to take it all into account. Her philosophy on mental health is that everyone is on an individualized journey in life, and she wants to meet you exactly where you’re at. She wants to work collaboratively to find the right treatment for you.
Shanna is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and licensed nurse practitioner in Colorado. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a psychology minor from Western Connecticut State University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University. She is in the process of further advancing her education to become a dual certified practitioner in psychiatric nursing as well as family. She is also certified in perinatal mental health from Postpartum Support International. She has been practicing women’s health in multiple settings such as postpartum, the neonatal intensive care unit and labor and delivery with years of experience in women’s health and is exceptionally passionate about perinatal and postpartum mental health.
