Sarah Pascetti, LPCC
Sarah (She/ Her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate and an MSC Level II Therapist. Sarah describes herself as an eclectic therapist, utilizing primarily talk therapy techniques. This means she uses different types of counseling interventions based on her clients' needs. She graduated from Adams State University with her master's degree in clinical mental health counseling and completed her internships here at Mindful Springs. Sarah's previous work experience includes reproductive health and pregnancy decision-making, domestic violence, case management and she has a long career in healthcare which has led to a deep understanding of the systems involved in mental health, advocacy, and recovery. Sarah enjoys working with individuals ages 18+ in the areas of mood management, life transition, depression, anxiety, career counseling, pregnancy decision-making (without judgment), boundary setting, and improving self-esteem.
Sarah feels that therapy can be gritty, radiant, freeing, and humorous at times. She is here to laugh alongside her clients if the moment arises, and hold space for the heavy times. Her hope is to offer a place for her clients to share those words that sit in their mouth and feel too prickly to say out-loud. She supports everyone from where they are sitting in the moment; so sessions may be task-oriented or may be driven by more of a traditional talk-therapy and supportive style, without judgment. In her free time, Sarah enjoys adventures in cooking such as making pasta from scratch, and adventures in the outdoors including reading in a hammock or hiking in the sunshine.Â
