Lindsay Miller, LPCC

Lindsay (She/Her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate and an MSC Level II Psychotherapist. Additionally, Lindsay is clinically trained and certified in Perinatal Mental Health, Eating Disorder Treatment, Brainspotting Therapy, and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. She enjoys working with children and adolescents (11+), Emerging Adults (18-35), Couples, and Families, with a strong developmental background in the Emerging Adulthood population. Lindsay is experienced in working with PTSD, OCD, Anxiety, Depression, self-harm, personality and mood disorders, substance use management, and parenting and relationship conflict. Lindsay is an LGBTQ+ ally, and believes in fostering a safe, compassionate, and attuned therapeutic relationship to help all clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.

Lindsay received her Professional Counselor training and Master's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. At VCU she concentrated in the emerging adulthood population from a developmental perspective. Lindsay also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from The University of Maryland. She integrates her education in human development and the health and sciences by using the Wellness Model Framework, targeting Mental Health from all dimensions of wellness including Physical, Emotional, Social, Environmental and Spiritual. 
 
Prioritizing a client-centered approach, Lindsay encourages a collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgmental space that is trauma-informed and attuned to the individual and their unique strengths, challenges, and values. Lindsay uses evidence-based techniques pulling from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotions Focused Therapy (EFT/EFIT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
